Niagara Water is seeking a talented PL/SQL/Oracle Programmer Analyst to join our Technology Team and assist in the continuing development of our Oracle application and infrastructure.  Your responsibilities will contribute to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions for both functional and technical requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis and design of technical solutions using Oracle Forms and Reports
• Completes specified software development task (design, coding and testing) to meet specifications
• Develops database triggers, stored procedure, function and packages using Oracle PL/SQL
• Communicates with end users to understand business problems or issues
• Provides technical support to end users
• Writes documentation to describe application functionality and/or technical design
• Delivers timely and quality services that meet or exceed team manager and client expectations

• A bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing software application
  
• 3+ years of experience developing large scale software development projects utilizing Oracle Forms and Reports
• 3+ years of experience programming PL/SQL
• 1+ years of experience utilizing Oracle Forms 10g
• 2+ years of experience analyzing business requirements and translating them to technical requirements
• Understanding of Object Oriented Design and experience with c# or vb.net a plus
• Required Skills: Oracle 10g, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, C#, VB.Net
• Must be resourceful and innovative problem solver
• Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible, and handle interactions with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the IT department and with non-technical end users
• Self-directed, organized and motivated
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required
