What we are looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EDI Gateway/Gentrans analyst.to join our Technology Team and assist in the continuing development of our Oracle application and infrastructure. The qualified candidate will have 5-7 years experience with Oracle EDI Gateway, Gentran and industry standards of implementing EDI processes. Your responsibilities will contribute to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions for both functional and technical requirements
Responsibilities:
Gentran Integrated Suite EDI Administrator Skills
Responsible for EDI Development, Mapping, Communication Protocols, & Training.
Monitor disk usage as well as work with the DBA team to maintain the database.
Maintain mailboxes and insure that Files are consumed, used files are archived,used files are deleted once archived.
Implement a way to track missing transactions between customers and EBS.
Implement a faster way to recover missing transactions.
Design technical specs for reports which allowing users to track stuck transactions.
Currently we are doing a lot of data manipulation on EDI transactions. The goal is not to have to touch any EDI transactions inbound or outbound.
Performs analysis and design of technical solutions using Oracle Forms and Reports.
Completes specified software development tasks (design, coding, and testing) to meet specifications.
Develops database triggers, stored procedures, function, and packages using Oracle PL/SQL.
Writes documentation to describe application functionality and/or technical design.
Delivers timely and quality services that meet or exceed team managers and client expectations.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in business or information technology;
Knowledge of various connectivity solutions (VAN, AS2, FTP, XML)
Experience with Sterling Commerce Gentran Integration Suite (GIS)
Gentran Integrated Suite EDI Administrator Skills
7-10 years PL/SQL skills (particularly in Oracle enterprise)
5+ years of experience in designing and developing software applications
5+ years of experience developing large scale software development projects (preferably Oracle)
3+ years of experience utilizing Oracle Forms 10g.
Must be a resourceful and innovative problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels including customers and vendors.
2+ years of experience analyzing business requirements and translating them to technical requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the IT department and with non-technical end users.
Required Skills: EDI, Gentrans, Sterling, Oracle 10G, ORACLE FORMS, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, C#, VB.Net
