Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to be our Quality Engineer, based in our corporate office in Ontario, California. This key role will oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Systems in our manufacturing plants.
What will this position be responsible for?
- Perform complex quality engineering duties in the development and application of quality tools, methods, and systems that result in continual product quality improvements.
- Participates in the quality assurance functions within the manufacturing division by assisting in developing, implementing and administering quality specifications, test methodologies, and sampling plans for product and process.
- In close collaboration with the Manufacturing and the Engineering Team, investigates and corrects various quality issues related to internal non-conformances, product returns, supplier issues, customer complaints and corrective action requests.
- Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes and develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
What is required for consideration?
- Bachelors Degree in Technology, Engineering or related field of study.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- FDA Regulated Industry experience as well as applicable Quality System Standards and Regulations experience is preferred.
- Experience with Project Management, Statistical Process Control, and Process Maps.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both orally and written.
